Eros~Eris: Performance-excerpt 3

The digital imagery in the excerpt is abstracted from a short video of the movement of clouds, then processed using Isadora. Three Isadora systems, running through three projectors were used to allow the imagery to flood the stage and slowly spill onto the floor.

Eros~Eris: Performance-excerpt 4

The digital imagery in the excerpt is abstracted from a short video of the movement of a dancer running back and forth across a large dance studio in shallow diagonal pathways. It is then processed in Isadora overlaying multiple processing systems to achieve the abstract blue flashes. The rhythm of the imagery was modified to work alongside the musical score. Three Isadora systems running through three projectors, each system set at a different angle and at a slightly different tempo, were used to spread the imagery across the set and stage. The pathways of the dancers floor patterns and gestures in this piece echo the pathways in the source imagery.
